US Hits 25 Million COVID-19 Cases
Record cases and deaths reported as virus surges
Donald Trump left us a raging pandemic on steroids. The US has seen over 25 million cases and 417,000 deaths. Both grim stats are records according to Johns Hopkins University.
Doctor Fauci says a variant of the coronavirus discovered in Great Britain is now in 20 states and transmits twice the rate of the original strain. Fauci also states the solution to fighting mutant strains is to speed up the roll-out of the vaccines. The Biden administration plans to issue at least 100 million doses in 100 days.
“The process to distribute a vaccine, particularly outside of nursing homes and hospitals, out into the community as a whole did not really exist when we came into the White House,”Biden’s White House chief of staff, said. “As everyone in America has seen, the way in which people get the vaccine is chaotic, it’s very limited.”
Imagine how much better off we would be if Donald Trump had embraced social distancing and embraced wearing a mask. The pandemic he left us is surging and mutating. I hope the Biden administration does what they promised. Please wear your mask a bit longer!
