President Trump promised to repeal The Affordable Care Act and replace it with lower cost health insurance with more coverage. He said Obama Care was a disaster.

His so-called replacement is nothing more than an ad hoc string of executive orders that increase cost, cover less, and provides no protection for pre-existing conditions. Obama Care covers pre-existing conditions. Trump promised his plan would cover pre-existing conditions. Where is it? He promised to, “take care of everybody.” We’re still waiting, Mr. President.

Fewer people have healthcare today than in 2016 when Trump took office. I thought he had given us the best economy ever. I guess healthcare doesn’t count. He has done everything he can to dismantle the Affordable Care Act.

Five Ways Trump has sabotaged Obama Care

1. Cut subsidies to insurance companies

2. Offer cheaper but lower quality health insurance

3. Reduce enrollment days to sign up for the ACA

4. Promote waivers to discourage ACA enrollment

5. Discourage Legal Aliens from enrolling in Medicaid

President Trump’s America-First Healthcare Plan is nothing more than a bunched up group of executive orders touting his vision of what healthcare should be. He has tried his best to destroy the ACA, right in the middle of a Pandemic.

The Supreme Court will hear arguments in early November that may throw the entire law out, leaving millions of Americans without medical insurance. And Supreme Court nominee Amy Coney Barrett once confirmed could be the end of Obama Care.

If Obama Care is Overturned

1. Millions of Americans will lose medical insurance

2. Many rural hospitals and clinics may close

3. The elimination of pre-existing conditions is certain

4. Higher co-pays and loss of benefits

5. Seniors will pay more for healthcare

6. Women will suffer disproportionately

7. Coal miners will lose benefits

The problem with eliminating the Affordable Care Act is there is no viable replacement.

In the end, millions of people will lose their health coverage if the ACA is struck down This scenario is a likely outcome once they nominate Judge Amy Coney Barrett for the Supreme Court. Make no mistake, her nomination is being fast-tracked through the Senate to accomplish this. Obama Care is not perfect, but it’s better than Trump's alternative.
