President Biden wants to invest $2 trillion in green infrastructure over the next 4 years. Not only will this reduce harmful green house gasses, but 10 million good jobs will be created.

“When I think of climate change and the answers to it, I think of jobs,” Biden said in a speech Wednesday, on a day he signed a second round of executive actions to help curb climate warming and protect people and the economy from its impacts.

The president aims for net-zero carbon emissions in the US by 2050. This bold initiative will be achieved by rebuilding current energy infrastructure with renewable energy, like solar and wind power. The net cost is estimated to be only $1 a day per person.

Renewable energy is the future. Why? Because fossil fuels are a finite resource and burn dirty. Green energy produces no harmful gasses and will create jobs. Sunlight and wind offer an infinite supply of energy, and just makes sense.
